Are you looking for a new role in IT? We are looking for an Applications Administrator to join our team here at The Krusteaz Company! The Applications Administrator is responsible for planning, deploying, and maintaining applications used by Krusteaz employees, including the Microsoft 365 platforms and other software and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft 365, be detail-oriented, possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

  • Oversee and handle the organization's applications, which encompasses the Microsoft 365 productivity suite (Dynamics, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform) and other non-Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Plan, design, deploy, and administer Microsoft 365 security services, including identity and access management, Intune endpoint management, DLP, Defender Suite, Entra, and compliance management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders, resolving application incidents and requests in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for the administration and governance of applications used by Krusteaz employees.
  • Conduct discovery with internal and external stakeholders to create a project plan and deliverables that meet the requirements while adhering to design best practices.
  • Plan, configure, and manage third-party SaaS integrations for authentication, security, and accessibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, updates, and advancements in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, administration, and configuration.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration and automation tasks related to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to think critically, problem solve, and articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding and experience administering Microsoft 365 security features, data protection, compliance requirements, identity and access, and ability to implement and enforce security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues related to Microsoft 365 and other IT applications deployments and configurations.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing IT role, preferably within the M365 ecosystem.
  • Experience with Hybrid Active Directory, VMware, and Citrix strongly preferred.
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry, including knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and logistics is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone along with reaching. Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work. Moderate noise, ability to work in a confined area, and ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time are also included.

Hybrid Work Model: At The Krusteaz Company, we have in-office "core days" of Tuesdays and Wednesdays where all corporate employees are expected to be onsite. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays are flexible remote days to allow for work/life balance. You may be asked to come in outside of a core day from time to time, based on business needs. Salary Information: An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $81,581 and $134,600. We typically pay out between $92,000 and $117,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
