We are looking to add a Sr. Quality Engineer to the team! This role is responsible for systems used to develop, store, and communicate product lifecycle data and manufacturing data for food products. The role will work closely with process owners and product implementation teams to define standards, monitor progress, and implement improvements. Additionally, this role will communicate and influence the broader Krusteaz Company to deliver highly effective processes and data management tools.

Ability to effectively communicate and work in a dynamic environment.

- Champions improvements in product data systems and processes. May include internal, customer, and 3rd party support. Key focus areas: data quality, product change management, production capabilities, product monitoring, product definitions/specifications, and 3rd party certifications.
- Leads critical risks and issues review, resolution with all constituents, and establishes effective communication between stakeholders.
- Initiates and leads teams to maximize product quality and minimize waste.
- Identifies system and process recommendations. Leads assessment for requirements, cost, and ROI supporting system changes or additions.
- Leads the user base through implementation of changes to tools or processes related to product data configuration, evaluation, security, and accessibility.
- Directly manages key projects as assigned. Develops and coaches other project and data quality leads.
- Develops business rules to support development, product change management, and production monitoring.
- Develops and implements processes to enable successful startup and sustainability of new product launches. Coach's others on development of control plans, specifications, and processing parameters by using appropriate statistical analysis. Identifies opportunities and develops problem solving and statistical capabilities in others.
- Configures user tools for product data collection based on The Krusteaz Company requirements.
- Supports leadership with design input and monitoring for product performance, standards, and data governance.

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to maintain communication composure with other departments and 3rd party organizations.
- Takes initiative to identify trends and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
- Leads cross functional groups through complex decision making, requirements gathering, and implementation.
- Extensive experience supporting configuration and use of computer-based tools (SharePoint, ERP, Specification and Document Systems, Process Control Applications, etc.).
- Expert in root cause analysis and leading teams to understand how product attributes relate to manufacturing capabilities and control systems.
- Expert statistics and data analysis capabilities; demonstrated experience training and leading analytics, process improvement, problem solving, design of experiments, and data modeling with large data sets.
- Broad knowledge in testing methods. Champions best practices to improve capabilities.
- Balances curiosity, listening and learning with effectively making decisions and acting.
- Both creative in problem solving and standards oriented.
Education and/or Experience:
- BS or higher in Quality or Engineering or related degree acceptable with additional certification in process improvement methodologies. Or equivalent experience/training.
- Certification in data analytics and process improvement methodologies strongly preferred (University program, Certificate program, etc.).
- 3 - 5 years leading use of enterprise product data applications required (ERP, PLM, manufacturing systems, etc.).
- 3 - 5 years experienced in complex data assembly, interpretation, and communication supporting manufacturing teams in a regulated environment required.
- End-to-end project management experience required. Experience leading projects in a food consumer products company preferred.
- Experience managing food safety, quality, and manufacturing systems. Knowledge of federal (FDA, USDA), state and local regulatory agency requirements preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise data including master data in a SaaS environment.
- Advanced general computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Salary Information:
- An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $88,131 and $145,408. We typically pay between $99,000 and $126,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
