The Krusteaz Company is looking for a Corporate Controls Engineer! This position will be responsible for ownership of the control systems in all The Krusteaz Company plants and will coordinate the power and control engineering functions across all Krusteaz manufacturing operations. They will also develop and maintain programs to improve our electrical and control systems and build capability in our maintenance and operating personnel. Strong project management will also be a requirement to ensure projects are executed in alignment with the Krusteaz capital project management process. Must reside at Corporate, Effingham, Hopkinsville or Manhattan Plant. This role is not fully remote.

Ability to effectively communicate and work in a dynamic environment.

- Ensures safety is a top priority - in all Power and Control Engineering initiatives.
- Ensures product safety, performance against product design, sanitary design, and TPM principles are built into all relevant capital projects.
- Provides on-site support for specific engineering and maintenance related topics and ensures that power and control infrastructure needs are identified, planned, and budgeted for in harmony with major initiatives and projects as needed.
- Monitors the power and control health of each facility and associated infrastructure equipment.
- Assists in the coaching and development of the plant technical organizations. Builds skills over time through solid training and development programs, and project assignments.
- Responsible to seek out and justify breakthrough technology.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external companies that can supplement existing Krusteaz resources provide engineering solutions, resources and equipment as needed.
- Analyze, design, and create original (or modify existing) PLC and other applicable programs to meet project requirements.
- Manage all sites Rockwell software activations (licenses) and assist with software purchases and support contracts.
- Maintain and develop software in a variety of platforms.
- Work with corporate and plant resources to help reduce losses while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and The Krusteaz Company SOP's.

- Create and implement a power and control engineering vision in alignment with company goals and expectations.
- Systemic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause problems.
- Develops skill, confidence, and mastery in individuals utilizing engineering/TPM tool sets.
- Demonstrated experience in controls and electrical systems management.
- Sound project management skills.
- Desire to learn new technologies and ability to build a business case for utilization.
- Computer and control systems hardware understanding and troubleshooting (Rockwell platforms are a must).
- Industrial network systems understanding and troubleshooting
- Software skills - TrakSYS (or similar MES system), Internet research, Word, Excel, Outlook MS Project, AutoCAD, RS Logix 5, 500, 5000, FactoryTalk View, FactoryTalk Batch.
- Excellent listener. Empathetic to individuals needs when documenting functional requirements and designing operator interfaces.
- Conveys information in understandable terms at all levels of the organization.
- Creative and change-oriented.
- Outstanding time management / prioritization, and organization.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work a flexible work schedule.
Education and/or Experience:
- 5-10+ years of successful power and control experience.
- Experience in variety of manufacturing areas (packaging, processing, warehousing) within consumer products. Food background preferred.
- Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline; Bachelor's degree preferred. Or equivalent training/experience.

Salary Information:
- An employee in this position that is located in Washington State can expect a salary range between $109,570 and $180,783. We typically pay between $123,000 and $157,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
